Brainers Center is a tutoring center in Khirbet Qanafar, West Bekaa, Lebanon. This page explains what information we hold about you and your children, why we hold it, and how to have it changed or deleted. We have written it in plain language rather than legal language.
What we collect
When you create an account we store your name, phone number and email address. When you enroll a child we store their full name, age, grade, school, the subjects they need, and any details you choose to give us such as parents’ names, your address, or whether transport is needed.
As classes go on we add what we record ourselves: payments, the dates they cover, and short progress reports written by the teachers.
If you message our WhatsApp number, we keep that conversation and the details you give in it, in the same way we would keep notes of a phone call.
Why we collect it
To place your child in the right group, to arrange a schedule with you, to keep track of what has been paid, and to tell you how your child is getting on. We do not use any of it for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone for their own purposes.
Who can see it
You can see your own children and nothing else. This is enforced by the database itself, not only by the website, so another parent cannot reach your child’s record even if they guess a web address.
Staff at Brainers Center can see the records of students at the center, because they need to in order to teach and to manage payments. Nobody else has access.
Where it is kept
The website runs on Vercel and the information is stored in a Supabase database hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. Both are established providers who hold the data on our behalf and do not use it themselves. Enrollment notification emails are sent through Resend.
Children
Most of what we hold is about children, which is why we keep it to the minimum needed to teach them. Accounts belong to parents or guardians, not to students. We do not ask children for information directly through this website, and we do not publish photographs or names of students without asking the parent first.
How long we keep it
For as long as your child attends, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case they return or you need a record of what was paid. If you would like it removed sooner, ask us and we will remove it.
Changing or deleting your information
You can correct anything at any time by messaging us. To have your account and your children’s records deleted entirely, send us a message from the phone number on the account and we will do it and confirm when it is done. You do not need to give a reason.

Changes to this page
If we change how we handle information we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant we will tell parents directly rather than expecting you to notice.
